Gryphon Sensors is a sophisticated systems to detect, track and identify low-altitude, small unmanned aircraft systems, birds and other hard-to-detect airborne traffic (e.g : Drone).

Gryphon Sensors provides the most sophisticated systems to detect, track and identify low-altitude, small unmanned aircraft systems, birds and other hard-to-detect airborne traffic.

Using an innovative multi-spectrum approach, Gryphon Sensors provides low-cost, best-in-class products to serve the drone security market and protect critical infrastructure from drones.

As a leader in this emerging industry, Gryphon Sensors is also helping to safely integrate UAS into the national airspace system (NAS). Our SkylightTM solution helps enable BVLOS operations for commercial applications.

Headquartered in North Syracuse, New York, Gryphon Sensors is located on the SRC, Inc. campus. It’s robust lab facilities assist engineers in designing, building and testing our sensor systems.

The UAS market will be a fast-changing environment for many years to come. Gryphon Sensors will be your partner — providing customized solutions with sensors that continue to evolve with technology, threats and environmental changes. Don’t think of us as a vendor; know that we’re your best-in-class partner.

Gryphon Sensors offers the only non-cooperative detection solution that identifies low-altitude, small unmanned aircraft systems and other hard-to-detect airborne traffic.

As the world leaders in intelligent drone detection and a member of the SRC, Inc. family, we’re a trusted partner of NASA, FAA and U-Safe, and we have decades of proven expertise with the Department of Defense. To us, surveillance is more than a service – it’s your peace of mind.

Gryphon Sensors Skylight system uses multiple ground-based sensors to detect cooperative and non-cooperative targets in the airspace, providing intelligent situational awareness for integration and security. Skylight combines multiple technologies to provide the most comprehensive, clear airspace picture.

The exponentially increasing drone market and applications present a growing opportunity for multiple markets.  Small, unmanned systems (sUAS) can be used for dozens of applications including real estate, cinematography, agriculture, emergency management and inspection.  This proliferation presents unique challenges for safe sUAS integration and protecting people and infrastructure from drone incursions.

Gryphon Sensors Skylight system offers a solution to both.  We use multiple ground-based sensors to detect cooperative and non-cooperative targets in the airspace, providing intelligent situational awareness for integration and security.

Gryphon Sensors R1400 is a 3-D Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) air surveillance radar designed specifically for the detection of small, low-flying targets. The R1400 provides rapid, precise detection and tracking of airborne targets, including small unmanned aircraft systems (UAS), general aviation, birds and other cooperative or non-cooperative targets of interest. It provides accurate target position and velocity in a configurable hemispherical volume of coverage: 360 degrees in azimuth and 90 degrees in elevation.

SAMI (Skylight Airspace Monitor Interface) is the glue that brings our sensors together to give you a complete airspace picture.
